Cart As the chilly and dark evenings begin to creep in we know that Autumn is here. Apples are a quintessentially Autumnal fruit and we think there are few things better at this time of year than mulling Cider or mulling Apple Juice.
With Hallowe’en and Bonfire Night on the way, and Christmas not far behind, there is plenty to get done. For us though, things are warming up nicely as we move into mulling season.
Trick or Treat
Hallowe’en is a great time for a get-together of family and friends and whilst the fancy-dressed children are bobbing for apples or crunching toffee apples, a mulled cider or apple juice (warmed in a cauldron maybe?) will go down a treat. And for the trick, the red colour from the infusion will definitely add to the theatre of the occasion.
Sparkle(rs) and Spice
Give your fireworks party an added bang this year with a red peppercorn and hibiscus mulled cider or apple juice. With a sparkler in one hand and a warming mulled spice drink in the other what could be better? Oh and don’t forget the hotdogs! Pork and apple’s a firm favourite.

Easier than making a ‘cuppa’
It is sooo easy to make our mulled apple juice:
For full aroma, heat in a saucepan with the spices and fill your home with apple crumble notes.
If enjoying at leisure you can simply fill your favourite mug with the still cider or apple juice and heat in a microwave for approximately 30 seconds – but don’t tell us 🙂.
Put in the mulling pyramid and leave for a couple of minutes
