Blossom Farm Walks! Saturday 4th May 2024

We are hoping to have some better weather next week and will be holding a number of blossom walks on Saturday 4th May. It may be petal fall and fruit set in places by then but it will still be an interesting walk and a nice drink at the end will keep us refreshed. If you would like to join us, please drop us an email to hello@charringtonsdrinks.com and we’ll put you on the list! Letting us know how many of you and your preference of morning or afternoon would also be handy.

Everyone is welcome including well behaved dogs and children! We don’t charge for the event, but you do have the opportunity to buy from us at the end after you have had a chance to taste our juices and ciders.

How long is the walk?
It is about an hour, walking leisurely through our apple orchards and talking everything apple as we go past our 7 varieties grown here. You don’t have to be super fit and when we get puffed out we just stop and chat. If you are struggling we can always adapt. After the walk, we will have a generous outside tasting of all our juices and ciders available.

What to I need to bring?
A smile whatever the weather! Good sturdy shoes or boots that can get muddy. Please avoid any open toed shoes and prams. Because we don’t know what the weather will do – rain coats and extra jumper or umbrellas disguised as walking sticks are probably a good idea! We’ll walk whatever the weather as that’s farming! If it is really raining we’ll find a covered spot to do the tasting as we don’t want to water that down!

How much is it?
It’s free! We want you to come and learn about the farm, the highs and lows of apple growing and to get a taste for our fabulous ciders and juices. You will have the opportunity to buy from us at “special prices” at the end and take home with you. If you are walking here, we are happy to deliver locally. If you are driving, you can park on the farm.

On the day you can call our mobiles 07919413104 for any last minute arrangements. If you are a big group (15+) and want to do a different day (next week or anytime), just let us know and we’ll find a good time to take you round.
