Can You Mix Gin And Apple Juice?

We recently attended the Pantiles Gin and Jazz festival in Tunbridge Wells and it inspired us to write this blog post. When people think of gin they usually reach for a bottle of tonic (we often do too), however it’s not the only mixer out there. People may ask can you mix gin with Apple Juice? Well, the answer is yes. Apple juice, especially award-winning Kent pure Apple Juice, makes a fantastic mixer for gin.

Our Captivating Cox apple juice is light and crisp with a subtle tang – it doesn’t overpower the gin and works well with the currently popular flavoured varieties, in particular raspberry or elderflower.

What about Ravishing Russet?

Ravishing Russet is richer and more sweet. We wouldn’t recommend it with gin (though feel free to disagree!) but it is fabulous with spiced rum or toffee vodka. The toffee vodka makes it like an alcoholic toffee apple in a glass!

So next to time you ask yourself can you mix gin with apple juice? Just grab your favourite gin, pour over ice, and then add a few glugs of Charrington’s apple juice for something deliciously distinctive.

That will give you the answer!
