Green Lacewing eggs a plenty!
Green lacewing eggs are tiny, white spheres (the dots on the leaf in this picture) that are attached to the apple leaves by slender stalks. The stalks are made of hardened mucus that the female lacewing produces when she lays her eggs. The stalks help to protect the eggs from predators and parasites, as well as from cannibalistic siblings. The eggs hatch in about four to five days, releasing hungry larvae that start to hunt for aphids and other pests on the apple tree.
