We’re proud to announce that we feature in the new Platinum Jubilee Cookbook by Ameer Kotecha. Obviously Charrington’s steals the show as part of a double page spread on pages 62-3, including a lovely photo showing a bottle of our Private Bin dry sparkling cider with it served in a flute. If you look very carefully you can also spot a bottle of Ravishing Russet apple juice poking out behind it! The book champions the rich history of the finest British food and drink and has 70 delicious recipes fit for a Queen and stories from British Embassies all over the world. There’s also a foreword by The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall.
All royalties are going to two charities: The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust (queenscommonwealthtrust.org) and The Prince of Wales’s Charitable Fund (pwcf.org.uk)
It’s a beautiful hardback to grace a coffee table or add to your cookery book shelf in the kitchen. The book would make a lovely present or souvenir of this very special year of celebrations for Her Majesty.
Copies are available from various bookshops and on-line, including Bloomsbury
